Milan, 4 March 2010 - Edison is the Italian company with the strongest international reputation reaching, for the second year in a row, the top of the “World’s Most Admired Companies” annual ranking by Fortune magazine. Edison got a ranking of 6.96 followed by Eni (5.92) and Poste Italiane (4.56).

The company also reached the second top performance worldwide in the Energy category behind E.ON.

This ward comes after Edison was a protagonist in developing international strategic projects for the European energy supplies such as the ITGI pipeline (Interconnector Turkey-Greece-Italy) and the regasification plant in Rovigo (Italy), the first LNG terminal offshore in the world.
