4. What does the Edison logo represent ?
The Edison trademark, which was adopted in 2003, was born from a suggestion that is as simple
as it is rich: the roundness of the Earth, the sun and, ideally, the sky. These elements, which are
interpreted as energy's original elements, are represented in a composition of arcs of
circles.
The visual impact of the trademark is of a dynamic environment which in the green finds its
integration with the primary colours of blue and yellow. The proposition reminds one of nature,
tranquility and balance; but also of rebirth and fertility.
